SEPT 2020 / Role: Organising Lead

In this session, Terrance Ang, Corporate Trainer of OPPO Malaysia discussed the importance of grooming through the art of demonstration. He showed detailed makeup tutorials including guidelines on eyeshadow and hairstyling that gave an awe-inspiring experience to the participants. Besides, Terrance believed that there is no right or wrong in personal grooming as the participants would choose the type of character they want to represent towards others.

Grooming/Professional Presence by CIMB Malaysia

SEPT 2020/ Role: Visual Controller

This session speaker was Herza Hasnida Abd Hanan. The interactive session focused on the importance of business etiquettes and representing ourselves when interacting with people around us. Herza emphasised that we only have one chance to make the first impression by always looking presentable from dressing and grooming fittingly to expressing appropriate gestures. Regardless of the pandemic, we should be prepared for both virtual and physical sessions by possessing a good set of business etiquette.

Linkedin Profile & Tips to Excel In Interview by NTT Global

APR 2021/ Role: Emcee

Najlaa Abu Samad, Senior Associate Learning & Development Specialist of NTT Global, discussed about the tips in building a professional branding on Linkedin and excelling an interview. She mentioned the step-by-step process and latest features about Linkedin. Najlaa also advised students to conduct some research and be specific about their answers during the interview.

APR 2021/ Role: Organising Lead

Fung Chai Ying, Corporate Trainer of OPPO, Malaysia provided students with informative skills and techniques on acing job interviews.  The session was then followed by Edward Chan Wai Hong, Learning & Development Specialist of OPPO, Malaysia. He provided the students with great advice to enhance and broaden their career paths. This session was very insightful for me and I learnt "STAR" technique as a tool to better articulate thoughts and speaking strucute.
